Phoetrix maintains this utility to transfer a designated file to a Google Drive location chosen by an authorized account owner. Questions about this policy can be directed to Phoetrix through GitHub.
Information accessed
The utility uses the Google account owner's authorization to check the selected Drive destination and the designated file. This includes the metadata needed to identify the destination, determine whether the file exists, and check whether the account can add or update it. The utility uploads the designated file or updates its contents. It does not intentionally inspect or transfer the contents of unrelated Drive files.
Scope of permission
The requested Google Drive permission can technically grant broad access to files available to the connected account. The utility uses that permission for the destination and file configured by the authorized account owner. The account owner can revoke the permission in their Google Account settings.
Storage, sharing, and retention
The designated file is stored in Google Drive until an authorized person updates or removes it. Authorization credentials are kept in private service configuration and are not included in this public website. Access credentials remain in that configuration until removed, replaced, expired, or revoked. The utility does not maintain a separate database of the account's Drive files.
Google provides the Drive storage and API; GitHub hosts this informational website. The utility does not intentionally share unrelated Drive file contents with other parties. This website has no Google sign-in form or added analytics and tracking cookies.
Your choices
The account owner can revoke access in Google Account settings, remove the authorization credentials from the utility's private configuration, or remove the designated file in Google Drive.
